
Our Impact
♻️ Composting Coffee Grounds
To tackle food waste and reduce methane emissions, we’ve partnered with local cafés and farms to collect over 400 pounds of used coffee grounds. Instead of ending up in landfills, this organic waste is now being turned into nutrient-rich compost to support sustainable farming.
📚 Climate Education & Workshops
We led an interactive workshop on food waste attended by over 30 participants, sparking important conversations around sustainability, composting, and mindful consumption. Our educational outreach continues to grow as we equip students and communities with tools to lead climate-conscious lives.
☕ Voices from the Ground
We’ve conducted interviews with over 10 café owners, Starbucks managers, and employees to better understand food disposal practices and identify opportunities for change. These conversations help us advocate for more sustainable business models and strengthen our partnerships with local stakeholders.
